Islamabad Leopards are just three wickets away from recording a memorable win against Multan Tigers in their Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Gold league match.

Leopards were dismissed for just 54 in the first innings, with Muhammad Asif claiming 8-19. However, they rallied back by dismissing Tigers for 121 and then made 575 in their second innings. At the end of the third day's play, Tigers were 154-7 as Zohaib Ahmed took 4-52.

Meanwhile, Rawalpindi Rams defeated Lahore Lions by seven wickets after claiming a 93-run first-innings lead. Lions made 219 in their second innings to set Rams a simple 127-run target, which they made in 30.3 overs.

ZTBL are struggling against National Bank after ending the day on 135-7 in their second innings, just 42 runs ahead.

Peshawar Panthers are in a similarly poor position as they conceded a 254-run first-innings lead against Karachi Dolphins. Panthers finished day two on 56-1, as their match was delayed by a day.

SNGPL ended the day on 181-1, 152 runs ahead of PQA in their second innings but the match seems to be heading for a draw going into the final day.

UBL were 143-5 in their second innings at stumps on day three, having gained a 65-run first-innings lead as well.
