Fourteen years after the World Trade Center catastrophe, the world still mourns the loss of innocent lives. But Adrian Grenier's note to commemorate the victims of 9/11 backfired when netizens found it "controversial".
The Entourage star — who played Vincent Chase in the super successful TV series – took to Instagram on Friday to condole with the bereaved families. But his post received negative response as he also mentioned the deaths of "innocent Iraqis" during the subsequent US invasion of Iraq.

The post read: "R.I.P. the 2,996 Americans who died in 9/11. R.I.P. the 1,455,590 innocent Iraqis who died during the U.S. invasion for something they didn't do."
The picture featuring Twin Towers was shared on Twitter simultaneously and took a toll on Twitteratis. The post was however deleted soon.
