Property Fraud Case: Court issues arrest warrants

The deceas­ed woman's daught­er had regist­ered a report with the Waris Khan police agains­t the suspec­ts

RAWALPINDI: District and Sessions Judge Ashiq Hussain on Wednesday issued arrest warrants for six persons in a property fraud case. The suspected persons, identified as Naveed Qureshi, Arif Mehmood, Sarfraz Hussain, Arshad Mehmood, Kausar Begum, and one other had transferred a piece of land worth millions of rupees. They presented a fake woman as the substitute of a deceased woman and transferred the land on their names. The deceased woman's daughter had registered a report with the Waris Khan police against the suspects and they were free on interim bail.
